Four steps, in this order, every time.

The order matters more than the labels. Nothing gets hardened before it works, and nothing gets handed over before it's boring.

Scope

Half a day, no charge. What you want, what already exists, and an honest read on whether I'm the right person for it. Sometimes the answer is no.

Thin slice

The first two to four weeks produce something running against your real data — not a slide deck, not a roadmap. You decide what happens next from evidence.

Harden

Tests, observability, cost ceilings, documentation. The difference between a prototype and a system your team can be woken up for at 3am.

Hand over

Your team owns the code and understands it. I stay reachable — the goal is that I stop being necessary.

Senior Software Engineer · In The Pocket, Ghent

Full-stack .NET engineer on the immigration case-handling platform for the Belgian Immigration Office (DVZ). Backend domain logic, live schema migrations, and Angular front end under strict availability and data-integrity requirements — plus introducing AI-assisted development tooling across the team.

2024 — 2025

Senior Software Engineer · Cronos, Kontich

Backend and full-stack .NET services on Azure for enterprise clients, inside Belgium's largest independent ICT group. Technical design, client-facing consultation, code review and mentoring.

2023 — 2024

Mobile Competence Lead · Katoen Natie, Kallo

Set technical direction and standards for the in-house mobile portfolio of a global logistics and port operations group — warehousing, terminal and supply chain applications. Escalation point for architecture decisions.

2015 — 2023

Software Engineer · icapps, Antwerp

Eight years shipping consumer-facing products for Bolero (KBC), Telenet (Yelo), Proximus (Pickx), KidsLife and Kinepolis — banking, telecom, entertainment and public services, at consumer scale and under compliance constraints.

Own products

AI-native tooling, built and run in-house

An AI-first property inspection app for the Belgian market, and an endurance coaching product built on the Anthropic API with Whoop and Wahoo data. The same work I do for clients, on my own risk.
